संत कबीर
Saint
Kabir was not only a saint, he was also a social reformer. He strongly opposed rituals throughout his life. And he reformed the religious slave society of India. But even then the religious blind priests and devotees of this place opposed them violently and intensely. But Saint Kabir opposed them and gave good education to the people of the society and he tried his best to remove the disparity of the society of India. He taught friendship and love to the people.
So let's read these couplets of Saint Kabir: -
1) It is better to die in life, who dies.
The one who dies first, Ajay becomes immortal.
Meaning :- It is better to die alive, if one knows how to die.
One who dies before death becomes Ajay - immortal. The one whose ego is finished while living in the body, he becomes free from lust and victory.
2) I know that the mind has died, the dead have become ghosts.
I felt behind my back, my son is like this.
Meaning :- By mistake I knew that my mind was full, but it became a ghost after death. It got up and followed me even after death, this is how my mind is like a child.
3) What should the devotee cry if he dies, who goes to his home.
Sakat Bapure cried, sold in lots.
Meaning:- Who has attained the imperishable home of his welfare, why does such a saint cry on leaving the body of the devotee?
Poor non-devotees - cry on the death of the ignorant, who are going to be sold in the market of eighty-four lakh vaginas.
4) I burnt my house, took it with my hand.
Those who go home, come with us.
Meaning:- The world - the body in which I - the ego of mineness - affection is happening - burn this house with the fire of knowledge in hand. Your ego - burns the house.
5) The word thinker who walks, the Guru's face is blissful.
Work and anger are not business, kabu na grasai kaal.
Meaning :- The one who behaves by thinking of the words of Gurumukh, becomes fruitful. He does not get tormented by lust and anger and his mind never falls in the mouth of imagination.
6) When the desire of the body does not go away till death.
The body and mind are free, instead of being wide.
Meaning :- As long as there is hope and attachment of the body, one cannot destroy the mind. That's why after removing the attachment of the body and the lust of the mind, one should sit in the field of satsang.
7) Seeing the mind till death, mind means faith.
Sadhu should fear there, let's take cage breath.
Meaning :- Seeing the mind dead (calm) do not believe that it will not deceive now. If he is careless, he can again become fickle, so wise saints keep fear in their mind as long as there is breath in the body.
8) After seeing Kabir Mirtak, have faith in your mind.
When will the ghost wake up and destroy the tormentor.
Meaning :- O seeker! Do not be fearless by seeing the mind calm.
Otherwise, he will be awakened by meeting your charity and will make you fall by putting you in the world.
9) Ajhun Tera Sab Mitay, Jo Jag Maini Haar.
There is a storm in the house, so save the house.
Meaning :- Even today your trouble can be solved if you accept defeat from the world and become selfless. In your house of darkness, there is a quarrel of lust, anger etc., burn it with the fire of knowledge.
10) Good company is like soup;
Where should Kabir take the name of Guru, there is no disorder tomorrow.
Meaning :- Satsang is like a soup, it dissolves and discards the essence. You also take knowledge from the Guru, by which evils will come out.
